As an IRB administrator at the University-affiliated hospital, two ethical choices can be made concerning the clinical research in the hospital. However, while in this position, I have also been appointed as the new chair of the Healthcare organization. Nevertheless, after integrating my opinions on how the hospital should conduct its activities. I face several hitches from the senior-most health officials concerning the implementation of new policies that I have implemented through the board.
I pull the health official aside and talk it out on the importance of the policies to maintain integrity in clinical research.
