In today’s technology-driven period, most brands and shops have a strong online presence, and more customers prefer to use the internet to buy clothes, foods, and other goods. They choose these options because of convenience and flexibility. On the other hand, many customers will prefer to visit shopping malls so that they can view other goods or try on clothes before purchasing them. The lines between shopping in a brick-and-mortar mall versus shopping online are promptly blurring. Therefore brick-and-mortar shopping and online shopping compare and contrast in different ways.
No doubt purchasing products online is more convenient than purchasing goods in a brick-and-mortar store. This is because the internet is open 24/7. In case a customer lives far away from the nearest store, or a retailer, and does not have transportation, online shopping makes a lot of sense for them. It will save time and money. Online shopping gives a customer an opportunity of comparing prices and deals in real-time. This, in turn, increases transparency and provides more options. However, when it comes to brick-and-mortar shopping, it is very difficult to compare prices because it is time-consuming. A customer would have to go from one store to another, check all the products and spend hours trying to spot the best price.
Brick-and-mortar shopping cannot defeat the convenience and flexibility that comes with online shopping. No matter how busy customers are, they can purchase anything they need from their smartphones or computers.
