How did you reframe a failure or difficulty in your life, in order to accomplish a specific goal?
I was never a grade A student while in high school and the thought of missing out on college always crossed my mind. I did study and always found ample time to do my assignments. However, despite all this effort, somehow I always found myself below or slightly above average. I was giving up on a lot of things and college seemed like a dream that I was never meant to wake up from. One day, the history teacher mistakenly gave a bright student my paper and told her to work hard next time. When he got to me, he congratulated me and said I had finally made it. I was elated but little did I know that she would later discover her mistake and take back “my A.” Her actions crushed me but the feeling I had had after I saw an A on my paper stuck.
