I have gone through the moral problems that the Ogilvy organization faces, especially when it comes to influencers. There is a lot of filthy with online influencers because they are manipulating information, they are not honest, and they do not defend the organization's reputation. After a thorough examination of Ogilvy organization's challenges, there are both internal and external problems that are affecting the company with respect to online advertising through influencers. Firstly, the primary cause of moral problems within the organization is a lack of honesty and integrity with influencers. As mentioned earlier, Ogilvy Company has an extensive reputation, and thus influencers ought to honor it. As far as senior officials are concerned, influencers do not reflect fairness or integrity in their work line. For the past few years, the organization has put a lot of effort into ensuring online advertising agents such as influencers are familiar to ethical code of conduct (Ogilvy, 1988).
This is a company of ethics, and therefore, it requires every involved party to have a clear mind when it comes to honesty and integrity matters. This particular company's core values are integrity and honesty, and it requires treating end consumers with respect. In this case, consumers require honest adverts that are not manipulated to achieve commissions or increase sales value. Additionally, there is another moral problem in the company, lack of privacy for consumers. Most influencers have been reported to acquire information from private consumers without their consent.
