Module 3: Time of Jesus. Literature & Language Essay

Essay Instructions:

When you write about these texts, remember that you need to extend them in some way. These particular books are so much a part of the heritage of the West that some of you will have a tendency to say in response to particular passages, “I agree.” But as a scholar, you must specify how you agree, and what it means to agree, specifically. In other words, just because these books may be familiar to you, do not assume that their meaning is obvious. Try to tease out specifically and concretely what the Gospels and Paul are suggesting and how you specifically interpret them.
You should review the grading and composition expectations prior to submitting your paper to ensure you are meeting all the requirements. Save your paper file with your last name and module number (it should look something like this - champagne_M3.doc)
