Managerial writing fosters effective communication in an organization. Neuroscience refers to the science that focuses on the function and structure of the brain and the nervous system. In my opinion, these two aspects are linked to improving the communication between the management team and employees in a particular firm.
Dirk Remley affirms that the way leaders communicate significantly influences the response they will get from employees. For example, some of the correspondences that an organization can use to pass a message to its workers are mails, letters, and memos (Remley, 2017). In most cases, organizations use memos for internal communications, such as the announcement of a new policy. Neuroscience enhances the specificity of the message (Harmon-Jones & Inzlicht, 2016). For instance, the management team can list the names of employees when writing letters to make a particular message more personal. Overall, workers are likely to comply with new changes if they are addressed by their names.
Other aspects of managerial writing that are linked to neuroscience include human behavior and brain-body-mind connection.
