One of the lines that caught my eye in the poem "Lines Composed a few miles above Tintern Abbey" is the seventh one which states, "Thoughts of more deep seclusion; and connect" (Wordsworth, 1907, line 7). The line is interesting since it resonates with my own views and perceptions about life. I am an introvert, and when I am secluded from everyone else, this is the opportune time for me to learn more about myself and connect with my inner thoughts. Sometimes being with people can be a disruption, and being alone has its advantages. For example, if I am in a crowded city or town, the diverse sensations can make it harder to make decisions quickly, and the input from other people can cloud my judgment.
