In life, it is important to take a bold step and focus on the good things that friends have done for us. All the demands that life imposes on us sometimes requires a brother's keeper or a friend who would walk with you in achieving your desires. Friends are not easy to choose neither handle but when an opportunity to find a good pal shows up, it should be cherished.
The most important influence that has shaped me to who I am today is that of a friend I met in college. My friend has been an influence over my life and has proved the value of friendship beyond borders. Ted has been a source of support in all the decisions I have made and has positively impacted my life into the way I see things. Words cannot define who Ted is. Many would like to be associated with this soft spoken, young, energetic person who proves to be particular even in the choice of friends. Ted believes in three basic tenets that define his being-good choices, good deeds and good thoughts; facts that have modeled his principles in life. He has a sweet spirit like that of a lamb and it is easier to jell with him in any discourse.
Joining College was a significant change that required a major shift in various areas. I was to adjust of my management of time, the manner at which I choose friends and so on. This proved difficult for me and with the help of my friend, changes in different areas mushroomed. Ted pulled me besides him in everything and our friendship was mutual. With his help, I was able to achieve so much within a limited period of time. I was able to also meet my social needs by socializing with other good friends from diverse backgrounds, an experience that has made me tolerant to people from different cultures.
Recently after school, Ted got a good job and on several instances he has received numerous favors from his employer for the good character traits he has shown at work.
