HVAC Abstract
The world is full of commercial buildings that house thousands, if not millions of people every day. Therefore, the quality of air in such structures is such a crucial factor and one that warrants mechanisms to ensure its quality is enhanced. The compromise of the indoor air quality is known to lead to certain conditions, including respiratory diseases, sick building syndrome (SBS), and various HVAC-related diseases. However, the introduction of Ultraviolet Germicidal Radiation (UVGI) in HVAC systems in commercial buildings enhances air quality and thus reduces the prevalence of the conditions outlined above.
