Ideally, poor lighting is often disregarded workplace and is linked to different negative health implications, which may include stress, anxiety, headaches, and sometimes it causes eye strain. Although different companies and organizations are keen on creating happier work environments through the use of artificial lighting, inadequate natural sunlight tends to have undesirable effects on both the mind and the body, and this may sometimes facilitate seasonal affective disorder (Agarwal, 2018). It is estimated that about 40 percent of employees struggle to work in poorly light places, and this tends to impact their wellbeing and productivity.
