I found myself feeling like an outsider when my friend invited me to a group lunch with her other four friends. I was excited to meet them since I had heard of them but never interacted with any of them. After breaking the ice, I realized that they were Kappa Delta members, a sorority group. As they introduced themselves, everyone at the table would mention the sorority group, and when it was my turn to speak, I felt out of place.
