A systemic review is a useful research method that focuses on providing an overview of different primary research sources. An inclusion and exclusion criteria also enhance the effectiveness of a systemic review, and it ensures that the right resources are selected for the research. Some tools that can be used to achieve this include the Cochrane Collaboration (Greenhalgh, 1997). Additionally, the research question for the systematic review must be defined accurately. This will ensure that the selected resources for the review support the topic and are relevant. The results from the systemic reviews also need to be analyzed based on whether they can lead to improved patient outcomes.
