NOTE 1: I have attached an article from PM Journal, which is case study of a project to harmonize practices for the use of IV pumps at a Canadian healthcare center. Although not in the format of Assignment 1, it does contain an example of a project charter, which may be valuable as guidance for your team project, and it does show how the project connects with the overarching mission of the healthcare center.

Coca-Cola Company has initiated several projects based on their values, mission and vision. Their declarations act as guidelines for the individual employees and for the company at large. According to their mission, they look to refresh the world in mind, to create value and make a difference, and to inspire moments of optimism and happiness through their brands and actions. The vision is subject to the stated mission statements; from the mission, the company broken down its vision into several segments. Among them include, providing inspiration to each other in a great work place, satisfying needs and desires of partners as well as offering a portfolio of drinks brands to the world, building mutual loyalty and nurturing a winning network of partners, helping to build and support sustainable communities by being a responsible global citizen. The company has abided by its values in behavior and action in the world. Coca-Cola believes in shaping a better future collaboration, leveraging collective genius, becoming real, acting, committing in heart and mind, becoming inclusive in their brands and doing everything well (Hamilton, 2015). This paper presents a project undertaken by the company in such a way that spells out their values, mission and vision.
The term Coca-Cola comes with lots of different images on one’s mind. Some speculations may be based on collection of objects such as a glass filled with brown and fizzy liquid. The company is determined to print a better image of themselves in everyone’s mind; thinking of a red kiosk located in a remote area. Despite the global domination in beverages, the company is still determined to achieve its goals and values of becoming a responsible global citizen. The EKOCENTER is a social responsibility that was initiated as a ‘downtown in a box’ that would improve the welfare of communities. According to the company website, this initiative was meant to provide a water purification system among other products and services such as wireless communications, sustainable energy, health education, and refrigeration vaccination storage (Hamilton, 2015).
The company has the desire to promote entrepreneurship across the globe by concentrating on providing opportunities and enhancing community development. For instance, Coca-Cola gave out a statement that over 1000 kiosks will be set up in various countries across the world. However, the company did not disclose the exact locations of the said kiosks in Georgia, Atlanta and other parts of the world, given the extent of its global reach. The company logo is the most recognizable in any part of the world. As a result, the company operates in more than 200 countries, with 1.9 billion servings of its products per day. The high daily sales ensures that a substantial amount of revenue is received from overseas based on a franchise bottling system. As a move to promote their values and missions, the company believed that the EKOCENTER initiative would be a viable venture.
