Kaozong Mouavangsou text is a good read. Through it, one is able to see the problem that exists among Hmong people especially when it comes to education. Hmong males and females receive the same education. However, what I find interesting is that unlike their female counterparts, Hmong males do not take education seriously (Hune et al., 2019). Instead, they tend to be more interested in enjoying their youth by engaging in extensive leisure activities.
Hmong females appear to be the most educated and qualified to take on job opportunities in the future. This is an important thing to note because among Asian Americans, education plays a critical role in their advancement within American society.
