The hidden cost associated with environmental damage due to mining, processing use, and disposal of mineral directly affects the market prices of these minerals and their products in the market. However, extraction cost and the general prices of natural resources have decreased over some period in the last decided. Reynold (n.d) observes that the quantities extracted and produced have also increased in the recent times.
