1 If you wear to advocate for one change in the criminal justice system, what would that change be and why. Inform your answer by referring to empirical evidence.
Based on several cases, there is an issue with the discrimination towards people considered as a part of the minority group even if unarmed which ends in death (Bryant-Davis, et al, 2017). This is a transgression to the due process that every accused has the right to. This is relevant because of the need to protect the innocent, and with this issue, the justice system is not able to do its goal. If I were to advocate a change in the current criminal justice system, I would ask our justice system to assess the alarming number of individuals killed by police.
