A data warehouse architecture called the Corporate Information Factory (CIF) is intended to give an organization a unified view of its data. It is intended to integrate data from various sources and serve as an enterprise-wide solution. A CIF is made to offer a unified view of data within an organization so that all stakeholders can access the same data (Bhatia & Mittal, 2019). It is also made to be extensible to make it simple and add new data sources.
A data warehouse architecture based on the star schema design is known as a Dimensional Data Warehouse (DDW). It is made to enable quick analysis of significant amounts of data. The fact table at the center of the star schema is surrounded by several dimension tables (Bhatia & Mittal, 2019). This layout makes efficient data retrieval and querying possible.
