What are the perils of relying solely, or, uncritically on the census (or any other statistical data) as a source of information about working women? You might consider the kinds of work that disappeared from the Chilean census in the early 20th c and implications that this had for women. We know from firsthand accounts that the number of women earning wages grew during the early 20th century, yet the Chilean census shows an overall decrease in women’s employment – what explains this contradiction?
What was the source of the anxiety or concern about women’s waged labor, particularly factory labor? In the case of Colombia, how did this anxiety or concern manifest in the relationship dynamics between factory managers and their young female employees? Did this make women’s factory work more acceptable to the wider society? How so?

Abstract
The current situation of women’s status defined in terms of the degree to which they can become economically independent and at the same domestically available for her roles. It is the subject matter of this paper. We will get into the details of why such practice has been constraining women when they can do other labor jobs that can sustain the family’s overall finances.

It is given that for the longest time women have been limited to domestic chores, that are rendering to children, keeping the house livable for the family while managing all other things that a mother is inclined to perform. But many of those stay at home moms have the desire to work professionally outside their homes. They are capable and motivated, however, situations in some countries do not grant the same opportunity as men have.
Perils
People tend to rely on the census as factual and accurate statistics but as misleading as the Chilean Census can be. It is undeniably biased against the women in the community. The margin of error is given in light of the honest mistakes committed in the process. However, it does not include deceiving intentions for the incorrect figures. The understatement of figures in the census can lead to several state problems. First, is the misalignment of the need and allocation of resources.
