Week 2 Reflection Journey though the MSN Leadership Program
Welcome to Week Two!
Throughout the MSN Leadership program, each course you have taken has been aligned with a specific MSN Essential Competency as well as the Wilmington University Graduate Competencies. As you build on your Portfolium each week, you will demonstrate how your professional practice encompasses each of the MSN essentials and the graduation competencies. In this second week, reflect on this journey and how it differs from the time that you first began your RN preparation. How has this information impacted your practice today? What experiences brought you to the place you are now. Consider the role you are seeking to eventually achieve, what opportunities will you seek out to better prepare yourself for that role?
Objectives/Learning Outcomes
At the end of the week, students will know and be able to:
Evaluate the AACN MSN Essentials as they apply to professional nursing practice.
Evidence growth in professional communication through writing by submitting an abstract for publication (and CV development).
Utilize critical thinking skills in class discussion, written work, online assignments, and oral/visual/voice-enhanced presentation.

My journey to becoming a nurse started way back in my teenage years, whereby my dream was to take care of others by providing healthcare services.
