Most of the wealthy countries in the world have universal health care coverage. Most nations that have adopted universal health care tend to have high-quality healthcare delivery systems. Surprisingly, the United States of America has been reluctant to adopt the policy, and majorly relies on employers’ health insurance for a more significant percentage of its population. Medicare and Medicaid also help a considerable number of Americans. However, they only benefit specific groups. Currently, the US leads in health care spending, making it difficult for all the citizens to benefit from the country’s advanced and excellent healthcare system. The latest data indicates that approximately 15% of Americans do not have any form of medial cover, and the numbers are more likely to grow. The US, therefore, needs to embrace this comprehensive health care coverage to lower the cost of healthcare for all of its citizens
It is beneficial for Americans to know that they have a unique healthcare system that they can access with excellent insurance coverage.
