1. Explain the Joint Commission's role in the evaluation of an organization's quality management processes.
2. Describe the roles that different levels of administrative personnel play in establishing or sustaining operational policies that are focused on employer-employee organizational risk management policies.
3. Explain the relationship of risk management programs and compliance with ethical standards.

Managers are required to establish sustainable patient safety strategies by empowering staffs and team leaders to maintain high –quality patient care at all times. Nurturing a safety culture within the organization means coming together to work towards a common safety goal. The Joint Commission's role in the evaluation of an organization's quality management process. The joint commission plays a crucial role in overseeing quality management programs within healthcare organizations. The commission's role includes developing standard criteria that focus on offering quality care and also ensuring patient safety. The commission also evaluates continuous safety programs through consultative processes , involving medical experts, consumers, government agencies ,employers and all healthcare professional(Joint Commission, 2013).  The joint commission role to improve safety includes reviewing existing programs through periodic surveys and makes recommendations for future improvements. Performance evaluation is one of the crucial processes where the commission reviews the organizations function and safety processes to identify areas of improvement, hence make safety a continuous improvement process (Joint Commission, 2013). The major role of the joint commission is in evaluating organization quality management process includes setting compliance standards to be followed by health care organization before accreditation, the healthcare organization can only receive the JCI   compliance standard and how to improve on safety culture through their organization website. Organizations can also consult with the commission to help identify safety improvement needs (Joint Commission, 2013). The roles that different levels of administrative personnel play in establishing or sustaining operational policies that focus on employer-employee organizational risk management policies. Developing risk management plans requires active participation of various departments and personnel to promote sustainable safety programmes.  In this case, risk managers’ role is crucial in coordinating safety protocols. Risk managers review the existing policies and make the necessary recommendation that needs to be implemented (Spath, 2012). Risk managers create awareness and educate quality assurance officers and management teams on their roles by promoting corporation among the different departments.
