The Affordable care act was passed into law in 2010 with most of the changes on this bill taking effect in 2013 however. According to, Hellier & Cline (2016), the Affordable Care Act also known as the Obama care is considered as the most important bill that takes patients into consideration since the advent of Medicare that was significantly signed into law in 1965. In consideration of this, the new billensures that most of the patient bills are paid by the government.
