Stress is Our Body's Way of Informing Us that there is a Problem
Stress is our body's way of informing us that there is a problem; humans are not immune to it and never will be. We typically experience stress when we have a lot of work to do or when we have a limited amount of time to do something that seems unattainable. Stress may also be the way we feel when something is upsetting us since it may make it difficult for us to carry out our daily activities. The thing that is risky when managing stress is when the medications used to manage it has adverse side effects that will become an issue with continued use. When used in moderation, drugs like alcohol are fine, but cocaine, which is considerably stronger than alcohol, is highly harmful and can have long-term adverse effects on one's health. Some medications can be ingested via inhalation, while others must be injected into the patient's vein.
It is sad to note that some people who encounter such high levels of stress turn to drugs to temporarily reduce their tension....
