Recommendations of the National Academy of Medicine’s 2021 Report
To address socioeconomic determinants of health and advance health equity, all regional nursing organizations should get to work on a unified plan of action. Clinical practice, training, leadership, and health policy involvement should all be placed on this list. For this agenda-setting process to be successful, it is essential that the Quadra for Nursing, as well as the Union of Health Promotion Nursing Organizations, together with its affiliated member organizations, work together and leverage their unique areas of expertise (Matheny et al., 2020).
