Researchers have for long argued on the best method of research to exert while conducting studies. Often most have advocated for the use of both qualitative and quantitative while in some cases some support each different side. Qualitative data collection involves data that is not in numerical form. There are just words and sentences that explain the findings of the research. On the other hand, quantitative research involves the presentation of statistical data to explain the results of the investigation. Both sides have their advantages and disadvantages. Some argue that qualitative method fails to provide the necessary numerical data to support the findings. Others claim that binary data is confusing to most readers since they do not understand the methods used to reach certain conclusions.
