Potential Subjects
The subjects for the study will be the patients diagnosed with acute bronchitis in the emergency department of a tertiary hospital. The patient included in the study must have the primary clinical sign of acute bronchitis, namely, cough with or without sputum production, associated with other signs and symptoms such as sneezing, sore throat, wheezing, fever, etc. The possibility of pneumonia should also be ruled out before including the subject in the study (Singh et al., 2021).
