Nursing Education is Essential to any Country Globally Nursing education is essential to any country globally, including the United States. One of the reasons this profession is critical is that it helps assess the people’s health in a given country. The nurses who have obtained this education offer a continuing assessment of the people's health. The observations made during this assessment help doctors make better decisions concerning the treatment of the patients, thus reducing the death rates of patients due to lack of constant assessment. This profession has also helped impart essential knowledge to patients. The nurses have helped various individuals learn to become healthy by assisting them in understanding mental, cultural, and physical issues brought about by their illnesses. This has helped to ensure the health of society by adhering to these teachings (Zhang & Cui, 2018). The nurses helped in programs such as rehabilitation of patients and promotion of awareness of certain lifestyle diseases that can be prevented, and they do more than just care. My primary educational goals are to ensure the provision of patient care, promote a safe environment that would make patients comfortable during their treatments, and ensure that they learn more concerning their health and how to best ensure they are healthy during their lifetime (Zhang & Cui, 2018).
As s registered nurse that has earned through having a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, which can also be earned by pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, which can be finalized in eighteen months, compared to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing that can be done up to thirty-three months. To work as a registered nurse, one must ensure to pass the National Council Licensure Examination. Job opportunities for registered nurses include nurse managers whose primary work is to supervise and manage other registered nurses (Halcomb et al., 2018). They also run the entire nursing department and clinical management and supervise a lineup of nurses. To work as a nurse manager, one requires an addition of an advanced degree like the degree in Masters in Nursing. Another area of work is the telemedicine nurse, who is majorly considered with the technology related to nursing as a field. Telemedicine nurses help reach people using technology in remote areas or find it hard to physically make it to the hospitals. To work as one, a registered nurse must ensure a few years of experience in the particular area. One can also be a nurse researcher that works in various institutions such as organizations and universities. Their work is to work in the laboratories for further studies on diseases, preventions, and treatments. A registered nurse can also choose to be a forensic nurse whose work is to work with the legal systems where they collect medical evidence in court and provide treatment to victims involved in violent crimes (Halcomb et al., 2018). Lastly, these nurses can be nurse life-care planners who work with patients who need continuing care for quite a few periods. Compared to other nurses, the nurse-life care planner is satisfied with building long-term plans for patients who suffer long pain illnesses.
