Introduction: Based on the results of the test I undertook, I came at a place by what I was able to evaluate myself. Knowing my strengths and shortcomings, I am in a better position to improve myself and become better not only for the future of myself but also for the sake of others at my workplace.
Under the area of personal and professional accountability based on my results, I found out that concerning my development plus growth as a nurse I am quite competent. There is room for improvement since we live in a very competitive world hence I will need to work on my career in advancement. The more a person learns the better you become. My ethical behavior rated at a competent level, and there is room for improvement. This score will help me not to get comfortable at my workplace.
In the section of professional association involvement which was my lowest score. Since I tend to withdraw from crowds, hence I will try to engage in dialogs and be an active participant. Dialog will be critical to my development in my professional field as I will grow step by step. I have never thought of in specializing in one field that is one weakness I have. This area is a challenge for me and my career, going back to school and specializing would be the best option that I have now. Boyd, C. (2013)
According to my current Job Description field i scored the expert mark. I am familiar about what it entails and the requirements that am so proud of myself. The idea of the unknown has always been a major challenge for everyone; I plan on advancing my career by going to the best school of medicine. As each day passes, there is somebody out there who is getting smart and better. I, have to be even smarter by looking at the future of medicine at my position now. I plan to venture into diverse fields in medicine; I will be able to be very flexible. Plus be marketable mainly dealing with complicated cases in the hospital. Attending medical seminars will also be an added advantage by keeping me up to date in the medical field.
Since my score was competent in part three of persona journey disciplines: I am good at managing councils or groups while working together in order to promote their better being. Since I tend to take control most the time, I will rather this time be also a listener thus improving my leadership skills. My score in action learning rated me an expert as one of my strengths.
