Excellent teamwork paved the road to superb patient care through a lesser number of hospital incidences which also benefit the healthcare workers through a reduced number of occupational hazards. Globally, many organizations and institutions focused research on identifying the factors that significantly affect the performance of a team to provide an optimal and patient-centred healthcare delivery system (Babiker, El Husseini, Al Nemri, et al., 2014).

The most significant factor that influences team dynamics and functioning is a deep understanding of the members’ workplace culture. To have a better grasp of this, an individual member must possess the following attributes: 1) Honesty ensures transparency. This is the first and foremost qualification in gaining other team members’ trust.; 2) Discipline must be prioritized over inconvenience.; 3) Creativity is necessary to find solutions to the problems that healthcare providers face every day. They must demonstrate flexibility, especially when encountering an unanticipated poor outcome.; 4) The members of the team must cancel feelings of grandiosity.
