Natural disasters can be sudden, and the recovery process and reconstruction can take many years or decades to be completed. Globally, some countries such as Mexico and Japan have been experiencing earthquakes which have been causing serious damages that take years to reconstruct. Due to these damages, emergency responses have been swiftly evolving to manage disasters. Governments have been giving early warnings and communication through technology, which provides emergency responders a chance to new opportunities (Ritchie, and MacDonald 5). For example, they provide them with cellular mobiles and telephones, which enable them to coordinate easily while responding to the earthquake. The federal government has also been taking part in the response planning process, while businesses and industries are taking more concern in expanding public emergency response abilities.
