4. Explain the differing roles of nursing leaders and nursing managers in this instance and discuss the different approaches they take to address the selected issue and promote patient safety and quality care. Support your rationale by using the theories, principles, skills, and roles of the leader versus manager described in your readings.
5. Discuss what additional aspects mangers and leaders would need to initiate in order to ensure professionalism throughout diverse health care settings while addressing the selected issue.
6. Describe a leadership style that would best address the chosen issue. Explain why this style could be successful in this setting.

Magnet designation is the status reached by hospitals after gaining an award from the American Nurses' Credentialing Centre (ANCC) for satisfying the set criteria used to measure the quality and strength of nursing services. All the health cares at this designation offers the best care and support to their patients in the desired ways (Lippincott Solutions, 2016). Achievement of this status requires impressive roles played by nursing leaders and managers as they both work as a team towards success. Although both groups use different approaches at work, they invest in the same objective leading to great achievements. Magnet designation is an essential status in the nursing practices today and hence all the hospitals work towards the achievement of the level by offering the best health care services. This paper will handle the issue of magnet designation and how the status is gained by magnet leaders and managers.
Nurses play very significant roles in the experience of various patients and families. The main point is that nurses offer primary sources of care and support to many individuals at the time they need concern more badly. Nurses at the magnet hospital have great knowledge and intelligence about their duties and they spend most of their time with the admitted patients, offering the necessary care to their best level (Manojlovich & Ketefian, 2016). At this level, the health and wellbeing of the patients is the most important thing for the nurses. The compassionate nature of the nurses allows them to give the best quality care to the patients. Managers ensure upholding quality care by contacting surveys on the patients which helps them in planning for future objectives. The main goals involve appropriate actions in the case of any issue of concerns raised by patients. The managers use the surveys to get to the staff on the areas of improvement and where they need to keep up with the excellent work performed. In this case, the managers give directions for improves and motivate the workers to keep the good work in motion. Various policies, rules, and procedures get implement to ensure that the working place is safe. Nursing leaders maintain the policies made and influence the staff to accomplish the set objectives and goals.
Nurse leaders base their work on critical thinking by setting goals and implementing effective communication to realize the emotional desires of others. Nurse leaders have the duty and responsibility of carrying out all the changes implemented by managers to ensure proper coordination.
