Long-Term Objective
One of the long-term objectives was to ensure that the target audience, who are the elderly, is to protect themselves from contacting Covid 19 even after vaccination. This is because Covid 19 vaccination does not guarantee not contracting the disease but prevents patients from the adverse effects associated with the disease.
Secondly, the meeting aimed at creating awareness on how the elderly can improve and strengthen their immune system because they are more susceptible to Covid 19. Another objective was enlightening the target population on how to avoid spreading and contracting Covid 19 through emphasizing the importance of adhering to all the outlined Covid 19 measures.
Also, the meeting aimed at clearing the doubts and speculations that people have about taking the Covid 19 vaccine to encourage people to get vaccinated because the vaccine is safe and does not cause harm to the body. The final objective was to create awareness to the target population on the risk of Covid 19 and the seriousness of the pandemic.
