The setting of goals is very important to every organization and individual in the world. As for corporations, they help determine the growth and development of the organization and come up with plans to achieve the goals. Individually they help assess and motivate a person towards achieving something. Nurse Managers needs to be extra careful when setting their goals since they affect many people. In the dynamic and complex of the healthcare system that exists today nurse leaders need to make their optional contribution to ensure maximum effect on the provision of care and safety (Disch, 2014).
Personal and Professional Accountability
The Nurse Manager Inventory Tool is essential because it captures the skills and behavior of a successful nurse leader. These skills and behavior can then be utilized to come up with good and achievable goals that lead to the provision of better services and care. I used this tool to perform a self-analysis on myself and set goals that I want to achieve in life. For this paper, I am going to concentrate on one goal which is ensuring that there is a maximum collaboration between my peers and me while enhancing my listening skills. The combination of the two can lead to my personal growth and development and can lead to efficiency in the industry. The achievement of these goals will enable me a better leader who will drive any institution towards success while ensuring that quality care is given to patients.
