Health informatics is a product of information technology that gained access to health facilities and institution that are mandated to provide and facilitate health services. These informatics service, serves as technological process where medical information is acquired, stored and retrieved with the aim of helping the various health providers’ work together in an efficient way. The role of health informatics in this age of technology is to link information, communication and healthcare to improve technology. Since the adoption of health informatics as part of the health policy, significant improvement has been observed in health service provision.
