The aim of the foundation is to utilize the grants for the betterment of the health of the people in America. The main targets of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation include childhood obesity, nurses and physicians training, and advancement in care. The foundation also focuses on some other elements such as poverty, quality food access, violence, and accommodation quality. Presently, the head of the foundation is Richard E. Besser. Around $1 billion is specified for the improvement of health issue. Currently, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is focusing on the few areas for grant making that are 1. Infant Obesity: To control this health problem, the major goal is to provide healthy food and a suitable environment for the children so they will not be affected by obesity. The foundation introduces various extracurricular activities in schools and playgrounds to make children habitual of physical activities. 2. Health insurance: The foundation supports all those plans and strategies that are helpful to enhance healthcare coverage. 3.
