Hypothesis testing is the method of determining the credibility of a particular sample of data. Additionally, the methods of examining and evaluating hypotheses are determined by the type of research required. The confidence interval shows the probability of parameters falling in a particular value (Minitab, 2015). For example, the confidence interval is used to determine the uncertainties involved in a particular hypothesis.
