Any other information that may help explain the chosen organization. For example, is it unique in how its finances are managed? If so, how?
Develop research-based answers to the five previously created questions.

This should include specific information pertaining to the chosen healthcare organization's budget preparation process, fiscal planning strategies, and how the financial condition of the organization is routinely monitored and corrective actions are taken when necessary.
Assess any differences and similarities between what you have learned from the textbook, videos, and other readings with what you have learned in your research.
This is the section of the paper where you assess any differences between what you have learned in this course and what is reflected in your research. This is also an opportunity to identify connections between cost and quality and explore the interplay of performance improvement, regulatory compliance, provider relationships, and payors. Keep in mind that the background and context of the organization play a role in how these pieces fit together.
Resources
There are a few ways to access public information on health services organizations.
Google Operator Search: You can use symbols or specific words in your Google search to make results more precise. For healthcare organizations' finances:
If your chosen health services organization has a website of www(dot)communityhospital(dot)org, you would use the following search to look within their website for financials:
site:communityhospital.org "financial statements"
To narrow your search even further, you could add filetype: to the end of your search to look for specific files. For example, filetype: pdf.
EMMA: EMMALinks to an external site. (Electronic Municipal Market Access) is a great resource for locating reports on large nonprofit hospitals. Simply use the "browse issuers" at the top, and then click on the state your hospital is located in. From there a populated list of bond issuers within the state appears. Many of them are just the city name, but it is easiest to put the word health in the "Search within this list:" box to narrow it down to bond issuers for hospitals. On the next page in the same search box, you can put the name of your hospital and you will select the most recent result. This will take you to a page with different tabs containing financial information.
EDGAR Report: All companies are required to fill out periodic EDGAR reports through the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. This applies to public, for-profit organizations. You can learn more about the reports, how to read them, and how to access them at the SEC's Filings & FormsLinks to an external site..
GuideStar: GuideStarLinks to an external site. offers a way to look for finances from nonprofit healthcare organizations.
The specific learning outcome associated with this assignment is:
Assess the relationship among healthcare costs, quality, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, provider relationships, and payors.
I'm uploading week 2 activity as well.
The FIVE questions are on the week 2 activity and you can use the Sources as well on the activity

Week 3 Assignment - Healthcare Finance Research
Even though there are many healthcare institutions, St. Jude Children's Home is one of the popular ones. There is only one St. Jude hospital based in Memphis, Tennessee. This organization has mainly specialized in research and pediatric treatment of life-threatening conditions such as cancer that children suffer from. Varying from other healthcare facilities, St. Jude is known for only offering services to children. This hospital has seventy-seven beds and is known to be one of the largest cancer research hospitals globally. The hospital is known for treating more than 8,000 patients annually. The other difference from the other hospitals is that St. Jude is not only concentrating on U.S. children but also focusing on reducing cancer-related conditions all over the globe. Furthermore, this healthcare facility is a nonprofit making organization. It, therefore, mainly depends on the donors who offer them the finances to continue operating. This is the main reason why even though it has one location, it has fundraising offices for individuals. St. Jude's main goal is to reduce cancer-related cases among children in the U.S. and the rest of the world.
When creating a strategic plan to help St. Jude commit $12.9 billion, it set how to contribute with these funds. For example, it plans to contribute some of this money to fundamental science. This process aims to employ efforts that will help improve normal biology and disease states. This investment will help the researchers to attain valuable insights about the reason what is the cause of the disease rising, how it spreads, and why it resists treatment. The other contribution it will make is regarding investment in collaboration. The hospital aims to fund various collaborative projects with different scientists in the U.S. This process will help address some critical questions in pediatric cancer, sickle cell disease, fundamental biology, and survivorship.
The other contribution that the hospital is looking forward to is investing in global childhood cancer care. The hospital aims to close the gap in pediatric survival rates in the U.S. and the rest of the world. For example, the survival rate in developing countries is 20%, while in the U.S. is 80% (Downing, 2023). This contribution will train nurses, doctors, researchers, and other professionals, which will help to improve the knowledge while sustaining the improvement of international medicine practice, which will help to improve the survival rates to approximately 60%. The other contribution that the hospital will make is investing in St. Jude Campus. These funds will be applied to boost construction projects such as a 140-unit housing facility for patients and their families, Domino's Village, and Family Commons, a free-zone treatment for patients and families in the hospital. Some of the funds will also be used to construct...
