Introduction
The essence of an evaluation plan is to ensure that the proposed rules and regulations, or simply policies, are duly followed. An evaluation plan helps in the monitoring process of a given program, as well as any feedback that might be used to offer points for further improvements in future. The overall picture and importance of program evaluation is that it helps in the general decision making processes of a given entity or organization. In some way, it is like a roadmap that provides an insight into what is being done, what is the outcome, and what is the relevance of the outcome. Such a measure is important, since it is the same staff that is entrusted with much of what the patients go through during medication. These medical practitioners need to be more enlightened on the latest procedures to do with the timely removal of catheters so as to prevent development of infections.
The perceptions of the medical staff and their respective attitudes towards the proposed measures will also be gauged. It should be noted that their commitment towards any new measures within the institution is paramount in the success of its overall objectives. Any resistance from them would be a great hurdle towards the implementation of the program. Developing a nurse-directed protocol will always depend on the determination of the nurses towards the same. Additionally, introduction of a more compu...
