Like most of the sectors in the economy the health sector has also taken to the trend of digital technology. Information technology has redefined the way people share information across multiple platforms with lighting speeds. One of the main impacts has been in the medical records which in the past have been done manually. Most health care facilities have adopted the electronic health records in light of the technology advances. This means that health care officials and the patient have seamless flow of health care information.
