Disseminating the Evaluation Results
The dissemination of results requires that right people get information in a suitable manner and in the correct format (Polit & Beck, 2013). The overall goal of disseminating results is to encourage other people to take action. The underlying values of communicating and disseminating results comprise of focusing on action, study the members’ background, needs, interests, concerns and plans (Glasgow et al., 2012). Messages in the results need to be simple and noted as key points. The report needs its presentation to be in different ways; it can be written products, briefings, meetings, seminars, workshops and videotapes. It is important to look for opportunities to report results and one need to be aggressive and not afraid to speak about the findings.
Elements of the Dissemination Strategy
The desired outcome needs to focus on health education program and physical activities. It requires answers to questions like persuading community leaders to support the program, or if there is need to coax the implementers of the project to change strategies, and whether there is need for feedback from the community.
The audience is the people targeted. It is critical to identify those that need to know and use the results.
