A confidence interval is a given probability that specific demographic values will fall under a given range. On the other hand, hypothesis testing evaluates a given sample by providing evidence and justifying the research question (Trzeciak, Roberts & Mazzarelli, 2017). Both the two aspects are dependent on the sample distribution. Hypothesis incorporates data in testing a particular claim; confidence interval uses the same data in estimating a given population parameter.
