Spirituality is an aspect that encompasses the consciousness or a set of beliefs that most people hold on to. Based on an unnatural disaster, the aftermath of the catastrophe always poses a challenge to individuals, communities, and community health providers such as community health officers. These challenges include homelessness among individuals, distrust in the overall organization, and a spiritual struggle among the health workers (Aten et al., 2019). After an individual fell sick and eventually heal, the person is always left on the verge of possible doom. The person frequently sees a possibility of contracting the disease again; thus, they get forced to rely on his spiritual aspect more or even push it aside. As a result, the person might become pessimistic in every part of his life. For the community, a disaster can cut off all the beliefs and faith they hold currently or even in their future. The spirituality that brings the community together can get compromised as sometimes the disaster proves the community's spirituality wrong.
