The result located in the unit six assignments is findings of the chamberlain college of nursing, class survey. It gives a different statistics for the class. For instance, there is the racial background information. The ethnic origin information gives us information on the distribution of various races in the class. For example, there are 3% Hispanic, 0.5% Native American, 69.1% White, 15.8% Black, 2.5% Asian, 0.2% Hawaiian and 8.6% unknown ethnicity. The descriptive statistics is meaningful as it helps us know the ethnicity population of the class. Without it, one could find it difficult to figure out the number of students from a particular race in the class. Moreover, it gives the picture of the class regarding ethnicity distribution.
