A well-organized health system is necessary for a healthy nation. It provides a platform for launching dedicated efforts towards addressing ailments in the community, such as malaria, tuberculosis, stroke, HIV/AIDs and other health disorders. They also lead campaigns on diseases prevention and control. Not only is it vital for disease control and prevention but it has become a middle ground for addressing health issues and a vast of social injustice. For instance, a clinician who cares for a rape victim has the obligation of substantiating the evidence to the investigation agencies and during prosecution. Given that these roles are fundamental in society often the health care workers find themselves engaging with external stakeholders. Besides, it is the role of organizational heads to lead by example in pursuance of the corporation motive. Thus, health system managers need competencies in associating with peripheral participants, primarily on the cornerstone of promoting the health standards of the nation. This study focuses on the main skills the medical heads should exhibit in connecting with external stakeholders.
