Throughout the program, I have realized that there are plenty of sick people out there than anyone could imagine. As a result of the changes in lifestyles, people have been diagnosed with lifestyle related disorders such as diabetes. Some of the patients have to manage the disorders at home while a substantial number of them can have access to a hospital for regular checkups. This is an indication that the course of medication needs to be changed and focus more on the community that is unable to access medical help (Goldman, Benjamin, Hernandez, Kindig, Kumanyika, Nevarez & Wong, 2018). As well, some of the patients have been ignorant about getting a diagnosis of their health conditions hence making the conditions to worsen.
