The Medscape App for Managing Hypertension is a useful health information tool use by both patients and healthcare providers to monitor health progress and treatment. The tool targets the adult population undergoing hypertension treatment in private clinical practice. 
Target population: Adults 
This Medscape app targets the adult population who are on hypertension treatment and management. High blood pressure prevalent disorder which overwhelmingly affects certain, especially adult populations who have unhealthy dietary practices, are obsessed, practice no or minimal physical activity, smoke and drink alcohol.

History of present Illness and Diagnosis
M.O is a 44-year male patient hypertensive patient who has been attending Cypress Medical Centre to manage hypertension for the last four years since diagnosis. M.O has been presented to the clinic on several occasions with complaints of headaches. He reports elevated blood pressure. He has a body mass index (BMI) of 31, considered overweight, but this reflects an improvement since he was considered obese at the time of diagnosis with a BMI OF 34. His blood pressure remained poorly controlled, with regular mean readings ranging between 145/98mmghg and 160/110mmgh. He is currently on atenolol 100 mg/day P.O. He has no other significant comorbidity apart from hyperlipidemia.
