(2022). Antazonile can be used independently or combined with other drugs such as Naphazoline. The key feature of the Antazonile is that it binds but does not activate the receptors and can easily block histamine effects. The medication is also important since it works effectively and within a short period. The effectiveness of an antiallergic agent is the reaction time; the lesser it takes to act, the more effective it is.
Mechanism of Action
The mechanism of Antazonile is complex due to its effectiveness in addressing allergic conjunctivitis. The basic mechanism of action of the drug is the binding process of the histamine H1 receptor (Drugbank, n.d.). Histamine is a specific chemical in the body's cells that leads to allergic signs. During allergic reactions, the body confuses harmless substances to be harmful, which leads to abnormalities.
