EVIDENCE BASED PRACTICES
Evidence based practice is one of the approaches used to ensure that the medical practices are up to the demands of the system. Ideally, when carrying out research on any given health topic, it is important to consider the different components. They are guiding pillars on the various aspects that support medical treatment plans. Preferably, heath care has to be designed in a manner that follows the evidence based practices (Johnson, 2008). Meaning that all the interventions that are used when treating patients, have to be well researched and involve clinical practices that are proven and they have to be based on what the patient wants.
When making the inquiry on the health topic, it is crucial that the research in question upholds the element of evidence based practices (Titler, 2017). One of the component used in the inquiry is that on research. This is to mean that, the element of including material that has been developed in the past is considered. The research that is to be considered has to have some element of review (Physiopedia, 2017). Where the author has reviewed the past research approaches and findings and established the various weaknesses as well as areas of improvements that enhance the quality of care outcomes of treatment plans and the satisfaction of the patients (Johnson, 2008). The basic nature of research is that it helps to better the findings that have been established before. This way, when considered for the inquiry, it is building on the development of ideas in the paper and informing better treatments. Otherwise, where research does not build on the already existing research findings and presenting (Johnson, 2008).
The other aspect to consider is the fact that, the research in question has been used in real life practices and proven to be working. Ideally, the basic outcome for any medical advances is that they are finally used to improve the delivery of quality services to the patients. The inquiry considered researches that included evidence of use of the practices with a proven track record of the same.
