Author's View
The authors of the three readings, which address life and different situations in the US, have come up with different interconnected ideas. They have focused on the history of the US in different dimensions. Racial politics is a huge critical topic that has been on the headlines across the world. The education in the United States has been racial by few individuals, which has made the country come up with a movement against racism (Cross, 1992). The United States of America has granted every person freedom and rights to access basic facilities. Cities, schools, and other public facilities have been racialized for many years in the US.
According to the reading on Racial politics, "Every child in the US should be allowed to access good education, health care, and housing regardless of his color, race or status quo." According to the reading on metro areas and the regional geography of politics, over 80% of the people live in one of the metropolitan centers (Hochstenbach & Musterd, 2021). These regions account for poverty in the US despite the regions having the largest national output. There is a high unemployment rate, leading to a high poverty level. Research as an epistemological architect of marginalized power has impacted the research department worldwide. This article has discussed the education sector in the US and how it has impacted ability among different groups of people.
Readers View
The authors addressed interconnected issues, and these issues have affected a considerable number of people. The authors of the three studies discussed racism differently, and my personal feelings about their idea were positive, and I agreed with the authors. I felt like they were addressing the issue directly, which has been hidden in many institutions.
