Are there enough universities offering Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Teaching ASL?

Research Design

I will gather survey data from ASL teachers using Google Forms since this is the only way I will be able to determine how many ASL teachers have a degree.

Sample

The sample comprises an instructor who will teach American Sign Language at Gallaudet University, the University of Northern Colorado, and Lamar University.

Measures

This information will come from a Google Form with short answer, yes/no, and one-paragraph questions.

According to the communication service of deaf people, approximately 1 million people use sign language to communicate in the United States of America. Deaf individuals and hard-to-hear disorders use sign language (Waterfield,2019). Thus, ASL requires trained teachers and tutors to ensure the needs of the deaf and hard-to-hear individuals are met and that they can communicate effectively. Therefore, this paper seeks to find out if there are enough universities in the united offering master's and doctorate degrees in ASL teaching. The research is qualitative and Intends to compare journal articles from different scholars to gather a theoretical background. 
Notably, the research targets individuals teaching ASL and professors in different universities and finding their level of education. To bring them on board, I will google the email of other schools and write them a letter inviting them to a voluntary research project. In addition, in the email, I will indicate the purpose of the research, that it is voluntary, and any information collected will be confidential; if they are not comfortable with the questions, they can skip or withdraw at any stage of the research.
